Today's post shows the fab handmade reception details of Allison and Mark's sunny yellow wedding at Atwood Ranch in Glen Ellen, California. So many great detail shots, all taken by Shelly Kroeger of Union Photography. {Click here to see the ceremony details from this lovely event}. Via Project Wedding.
Favors included bundles of pencils printed with "Mark loves Allison".
Custom buttons with messages about the couple and the wedding sparked conversation over dinner.
A scrapbook Mark found at a thrift store served as the guestbook. Allison pasted small envelopes in the book, which guests tucked individual notes in to.
Yellow, orange and grey paper lanterns softly lit the split-level barn.
Place cards hang from rustic open-back chairs.
Julie Atwood used a variety of containers, vases, candleholders and decorative items to create a casual mix-and-match look at the reception.
Milk glass vases frame a place setting.
The groom's mother sewed the patterned yellow and orange table runners using quilting fabric.
Lisa of Fleur de Lisa designed the textured chocolate-and-banana cake to look casual and homemade.
Sage Catering served simple seasonal foods from the region, including organic chicken, heirloom tomatoes, grilled asparagus and gazpacho.
The barn glows as the party continues into the night. The couple chose “Honey Hi,” by Fleetwood Mac for their first dance song. Allison explains, “It’s a song that reminds us of when we first started dating.”
