Abby and Evan met while attending Vanderbilt University, and were engaged for nine months before tying the knot March 29, 2008. They were married at St. George's Episcopal church in Nashville, Tennessee and the reception was held at the Travellers Rest Plantation in Nashville.

"Our goal was to focus on local Nashville goodies, so we did welcome baskets that included GooGoo's (a local candy), Jack Daniel's whiskey - which is made right up the road, and lots of tourist information and coupons for our local favorite spots."

In true southern fashion, Abby and Evan had large wedding parties. "We had 10 bridesmaids and groomsmen, 2 ushers, and 2 in the house party. We also had two ring bearers, both our nephews."

"One of the best moments of the day was when the doors of the church opened and the organ started playing and my dad and I started walking down the longest aisle ever!!"

"The most memorable moment of the ceremony was when the priest told us to turn around while we were at the alter and look at all our friends and family in the church and realize that everyone there was an important part of our lives together... it was an incredible feeling to take a moment to see everyone together."

"Dessert Design makes the best cakes in Nashville and made us an amazing wedding cake as well as an incredible grooms cake."

Evan the groom is a musician..."he got up at the reception and sang "Jenny - 867-5309" with the band and had the whole reception singing along."

Thank you Abby for letting me feature your amazing wedding!
