"Whimsy Chic" Decor + Flower Inspiration

I've heard of chic, shabby chic, vintage chic, boho chic, rustic chic but never whimsy chic. But I have to say, if it looks as good as this decor and floral inspiration found via Hostess With The Mostess, I may be a whimsy chic convert! The color palette for this event was pastel scrumdiddlyumptious-ness, and I'm a sucker for anytime there are romantic, frilly, feminine flowers paired with succulents. There are so many details to love here that made this event special - milk glass and colored pressed glass vases, pops of bright blue on the birdcage centerpiece and bud vase, ceramic birds, books, and vintage keys.

  1. This is the definition of whimsy-chic perfection! The colorful kookiness pops with offbeat enthusiasm, and yet it's not TOO much. Loving this!

  2. Wow, we totes used the SAME crazy word (scrumdiddlyumptious) in our blog posts TODAY. How freaky is that?!
