I love the idea of love letters... there is something timeless and deeply romantic about putting pen to paper and telling someone how you feel. This is a lost art that needs to be brought back into style!

ReplyDeleteI adore this post, Annie! Happy Friday!
ReplyDeletelove the book Love Letters of Great Men... I always keep it on my bedside table!Unfortunately I never received one from my hubby but only some when I was younger"but never say never!:)
ReplyDeleteAwwww this post makes me all warm and squishy feeling. Love the round-up. Great job, Annie. Happy Valentine's Day :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteThey ARE romantic! When B and I first started dating I didn't have email ~ he was in college and I was a senior in high school, so more appropriately - my PARENTS didn't have email. He would mail me letters and I would mail him cards and it was so exciting and sweet. I still have the very first one he ever sent; he mailed it the first day we started the long distance stuff. It's so cute!
ReplyDeleteBOYS/MEN: If you like it, then put a stamp on it. ;)
Such gorgeous images, and perfect Valentine's Day love letter inspiration! John and I have saved each love letter we've sent one another, and I love reading through them!
ReplyDeleteoh man, i LOVE that necklace.
ReplyDeletei have a hat box full of love letters that i read ALL the time, i made a little book of isaiah's and my favorites to and from each other and we dig through it after most fights, just as a reminder, yeah?
@ Lizzie - I may or may not have bought that necklace for myself yesterday after learning the husband got me something else for V-Day... I also love the book of love letters idea! That is such a great/sweet idea.
ReplyDelete@Nicole @Lena @Lizzie - You love letter stories are so precious! You guys are making me jealous :)
Brandon and I give each other sweet cards for anniversaries or valentines, which I've taken up framing and hanging in our room.
