Real Wedding: Rustic Glamour

This bit of wedding gorgeousness literally took my breath away yesterday. I spotted it over on Style Me Pretty, and was blown away by the natural-meets-glam feel of it. It took place in one of my favorite places, Inverness, California at Manka's Inverness Lodge. The couple went with the rustic chic feel of the venue and didn't try and change it (a great money saver as well). I also love love loved the brides glam dress and the rustic wood look of the venue paired with the clean white look of anemones and ranunculus in glass vases - little cost with a big impact.

From the bride Angie (via Style Me Pretty): We had a short window to plan our wedding, so the list of friends and family who could join us in Inverness, California was relatively small. The upside to a smaller party was the option to hold the event in an intimate space. We chose Manka’s Boathouse a woodsy-chic property on Tomales Bay that already features unique and quirky architecture and decoration. Because the site has style built-in and space was limited, we choose to keep the flowers, linens, and wedding theme clean and minimal, so that it played off the space without overwhelming it. We love the way it came together, because the room felt elegant but still comfortable, and it was cozy enough to feel surrounded by family and friends.
