Real Wedding: Kelly and Chris

Another day, another fabulous yellow wedding. Kelly and Chris' wedding took place at the swanky Movie Colony Hotel in Palm Springs, and combines yellow with gorgeous succulent bouquets and favors, a pool party, photo booth and kisses. I know it's already been featured on other blogs (which I usually avoid if I can) but I had to share it here since it is such a cool example of a yellow wedding! I tried to include some shots that I knew hadn't already been used on other blogs. The photography was done by the husband and wife team of Erin Hearts Court, which wins my vote for Cutest Wedding Photography Business Name Ever. This wedding may also win for Most Pictures In A Post on Marry You Me.
From the husband half of the Erin Hearts Court duo: "Courtney and I had the opportunity to photograph a very cool wedding at a private residence with a swanky hotel reception. Kelly and Chris rented out a fun hotel in Palm Springs where they could party and swim throughout the night. Kelly had a lot of details in mind: escort cards attached to potted succulent plants, a self service photobooth setup, lemony desert table, and s’mors over a crystal fire pit to name a few. Courtney and I had a great time working with a fun planner/florist named Megan from La Partie Events who executed the details and the flow of the event with ease, and Eric the DJ kept the party going."
Kelly's dress was a Monique Lhuillier - love the detail on the top.
Such a fun yellow shoe pic on the antlers...you don't see many of those!

Billy button and succulent boutonnieres? Fab.
Love love love the bouquet!

Awesome group shot, and how cute are those yellow bridesmaids dresses? Adorably retro looking.

Such a cool shot.

This is such a good idea - succulent favors that double as escort cards, with the card matching all the other printed materials.
Potted succulents served as table numbers and centerpieces. So cool. And these pots will last forever and could be given out as wedding party or vendor thank you gifts. I want one on my coffee table!!

LOVE this DIY! Plain brown paper bags from the craft store stamped with "Love is Sweet" in white ink for candy buffet bags.

Huge lit letters with the couples initials - genius! Congrats to Chris and Kelly.
