Real Wedding: Lia and Mark

This real wedding is a little bit country and a lot stunning. The wedding took place at Diamond Cross Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming (un-wedding related, but if you are ever in Jackson Hole you must visit the New York City Sub Shop - best subs ever!). The ceremony location overlooks the Teton Mountains and is simply breathtaking. I love the colors they used, the bride's amazing lace dress and the groom's dapper blue suit. The photography captures the couple and their day just perfectly and was done by Carrie Patterson.

Real (Veteran's Day) Wedding: Katy and Seth

I had to save the other real wedding I was going to post for tomorrow, since today is Veteran's Day and I wanted to share a military wedding! I had three grandparents who served in WWII, so I know the sacrifice members of our military and their families make to serve our country. Katy and Seth were married at Flat Creek Country Club in Peachtree, Georgia. I love the feel of this wedding - very traditional with classic military elements like the groom in uniform and the drawn-sword salute as they exit the church. The bride's dress is classic bride, and the touches like the prayer book centerpieces make this wedding so beautiful. Harwell Photography captured the day perfectly. Thank you to all the Veterans who serve or have served our country.

Bridesmaid Style: Carol Hannah

I came across this dress designed by Project Runway contestant Carol Hannah as part of her Wedding Collection shop on Etsy and instantly wished I could wear this as a bridesmaid (okay, or just wear it somewhere). Pretty please some friend of mine? I don't mind splurging on this bit of gorgeousness.

Flowers: Peacock Bouquet

This bouquet totally embodies the fabulousness of the peacock trend I've seen going on in the world of weddings. So many different elements - and I love the succulent in it! The bouquet was made by the amazing team at Geranium Lake Flowers in Portland, Oregon and the photos are by the talented Kate Kelly (who I've met and is super sweet in addition to being a great wedding photographer!)

Confessions...

I confess to: Not getting this whole "mustache on a stick" in e-pics or at weddings trend.

Adorable Find: Little White Dresser

Sorry for the late post...I was having a pretty down day, but finding out about the Little White Dresser shop on Etsy was a bright spot. Seriously some of the cutest accessories for the bride and bridesmaids - or for just plain old lovers of cute accessories. Here's a few of my favorites!

I love this! Wear it as headband, or, wear it as a sash! Or wear it as both, one for ceremony, one for reception.
