Happy Shoesday! I couldn't resist these lacy gold Badgeley Mischka heels... they are so romanic and vintage feeling. The gold tablecloths paired with soft frilly white flowers in a depression glass vase atop a crocheted doily are the perfect match for these pretty shoes.

While watching the Royal Wedding on Friday and looking through pictures since, in true wedding blogger form, I kept secretly hoping for a 'shoe shot'. Alas, I didn't get to see one. (I just hope Kate's photographer got one for her). But, luckily Alexander McQueen has just released a lovely pair almost identical to the custom ones they made for Duchess Catherine to wear on her big day. I am just loving these ivory satin pumps covered in lace! So romantic, yet modern.

I love this shot of these Steve Madden rosette flats against the bride's vintage lace dress, and the flower detail on the shoes fits perfectly with her lovely dahlia bouquet and dahlia in her hair.

P.S. These shoes were the Steve Madden 'Derosa' style and are apparently no longer available anywhere online. I have a similar pair from Payless in grey, and they are so comfy, pretty + feminine.

My apologies for the delayed Tuesday Shoesday post! I decided since it was late I'd better make it a good one. I know I'm on the hunt for New Year's Eve shoes (and an outfit to go with the shoes), and these babies scream 'pretty + girly' but with that gold heel they also say 'I like to party'.

The lovely shoe is the 'Kam Me' by Luichiny, and in addition to the blush color they also come in  beige/ivory, black, fuschia and red. And at $89 (with free shipping) these shoes are a gorgeous steal.
