Inspiration: Retro Breakfast Wedding

I'm a huge fan of the breakfast wedding, and also of retro whimsy done well. This combines both of these things just perfectly. Two weekends ago I attended the Bravo Wedding Affair in Portland, Oregon, where local vendors work together on different themes for each room, and they really go all out. The theme of this room was "Vintage Spring" with a take on a bright and cheery red and yellow retro breakfast wedding. The concept was put together by Lavish Flora and Soiree Special Event Planning - two vendors I would highly recommend to any Portland brides. So many great ideas, I just love what they did here:

A combination of pots, bowls, pitchers as flower vases were filled with vibrant red, yellow and white flowers.

A cake plate stacked with doughnuts as a table accent (and treat for your guests!)

Retro cherry print papers served as placemats, and each DIY place card featured a tiny retro pinup girl.

The toaster served as fun retro decor as well as a table number - it was on the toast!

The taller tables each featured a different retro print tablecloth. These can be easily found at thrift or vintage shops as well as on eBay and Etsy.
