Inspiration Board: Come Fly With Me

Who could resist a wedding that is an ode to the glam golden days of air travel? A mix of white, red, light and navy blues for the color palette, with charming touches like paper airplane invites, retro print chocolate bar favors, a pillbox bridal hat paired with a blusher veil and red lipstick, vintage looking peep-toe Louboutins, striped decor, and a charming red and white striped cake to finish.

Inspiration Board: Sugary Sweet Love

This wedding is as sweet as candy... primary red, orange and yellow mix with pastel blue, pink and white to create the perfect marriage of colors for a whimsical yet lovely wedding. It's the little details make this event special and sweet - a bright yet elegant invitation suite, a retro candy buffet with old time favorites like ribbon candy, rock candy and whirly pops, bright punchy flowers, a candy decorated cake, and homemade whoopie pies in simple cellophane bags served with milk will make for memorable favors for your guests to devour on their way home.

Inspiration Board: To the Nines

This board is part old Hollywood glamour, part red carpet paparazzi wedding. The focus is on fashion, looking celeb-fab, and a glam reception with minimal effort - balloon and champagne bucket decor, a champagne pyramid, and wandering "souvenir" photographers in place of the tired photo booth.

Inspiration Board: 1930's Romance

I have a serious love of all things vintage + historical, and the 1930’s has always seemed like a romantic decade where love carried people through the hard times. I adored the picture of the bride, groom and bridesmaid in shades of purple and built this board around it. Purples, pinks, and dusty greys make this small wedding stately, yet cheerfully optimistic - just like the couples of the 1930’s must have been as they started their new lives together.

Inspiration Board: Happy Happy Holiday

My dear e-friend Bianca made the cutest holiday inspiration board over on Style Circle today, and I just had to share her work! I love the mix of nuetrals and white whites with pops of red - that's what I wanted to go for this Christmas at our house.

From Bianca: "Well I don’t know about you ladies, but I am already in the holiday spirit! As much as I wanted to try and do something without using red, it’s just such a beautiful color and really symbolizes both the beauty of the season as well as our love for family, friends and fiances! Use pops of red throughout the naturally gorgeous winter whites and neutrals and let tradition guide, not deter, you."

Inspiration Board: Preppy Punky

I am loving the idea of a twist on a Preppy wedding - making it a little edgier, a little more Gossip Girl, a little more punky! Take traditional preppy elements - a gorgeous flowy dress, formal calligraphy, a family crest, a pink and green color scheme, a bright bouquet with a preppy ribbon, and turn them punky by adding black and brightness to the palette, bright yet soft florals with pops of color from green apples, flirty punky oh-so Gossip Girl hot pink bridesmaids dresses (that they will actually wear again!), animal escort cards, black chiavari chairs with hot pink ribbons and thin black stripe table cloths to complete the look.
