Friday Faves: Holiday Edition

It's Friday and it's time for a roundup of some of my fave Holiday wedding and home decor finds from the wedding blog world (and beyond). There are some great free downloads and project ideas for your holiday today. This weekend Brandon and I are pulling out our Christmas decor, getting our tree, and putting up lights on the house - it's snowy here in Bend, Oregon so bring on the peppermint hot cocoa and warm mittens!

Free Download Thursday: Milk + Cookie Favors

So this is probably the cutest thing I've seen in a while, taking me back to elementary school days! These printable milk carton favor boxes and report card-style recipe cards from Paper Crave that I spotted over on The Sweetest Occasion would make for the coolest favor, welcome snack, midnight snack, or cute grad party favor. I know I'm definitely making these for my little brother's high school graduation party next week.

Free Download Thursday: "Drink Me" Bottle Tags by Truly Smitten

Free Download Thursday has returned to Marry You Me - and it's a goodie! Who can resist a bottled drink with a tag that says "Drink Me"? I found this free download over on Truly Smitten - every one of the 3 tags has it's own cute saying underneath "Drink Me" - such as "I'm quite delicious", "refreshingly yummy" and "sip, sigh, and repeat". If I saw a beverage that told me straight up that it was quite delicious and then told me to drink it, I couldn't resist. Your guests won't be able to either.

Free Download Thursday: Custom Monograms from The Wedding Chicks

Had to share this amazing free downloadable heart and arrow custom monogram from The Wedding Chicks. You get to pick the design color and the font colors from 22 ultra-cool colors, as well as add in your and your significant other's initals. Then the finished design is instantly emailed to you, yours to use any way you like for invitations, envelopes, programs, menu cards, favor labels - or whatever you can come up with (I'm printing mine out and framing it to hang on the gallery wall in our bedroom). How awesome is that?

The Wedding Chicks are a super fabulous resource for not only great wedding inspiration and ideas but they also feature a shop for items like tees and tanks for your wedding party and the cutest custom tote/welcome bags that are definitely worth checking out.

This week for Free Download Thursday I have some lovely little printables to share from the amazing second issue of Nonpareil Magazine, the free online magazine collaboration between Maddy of The Inspired Bride and Kristen of Paper Crave. The magazine does such a fantastic job of approaching weddings "with a focus on hip, stylish, do-it-yourself projects and inspiration", making it one of my favorite resources.
