I've been seeing lots of neutrals and monochromatic white color palettes for winter lately, but this is such a fresh new spin on that - neutrals and whites with a super bright, super bold pop of color like this amazing day-glo orangey pink. I literally stopped dead in my tracks with my mouth hanging open when I saw this fabulous display of paper flowers and paper garlands over on Somewhere Splendid. The concept and design was done by Susana of Simplesmente Branco and Ana of Pinga Amor.
From Susana and Ana: "Our concept was to do something a bit rough, instead of creating one those real pretty, neat and organized tables. We played with colors (neon pink, brown craft paper and white) and textures (tissue paper, paper doilies and Braille edition newspaper) to have something really interesting for the eye. We chose sweets from our childhood, including small and traditional biscuits and cakes for a “less is more” approach. Our end result: a clean, conceptual table with a wall gone mad, just for the fun of it!"
Thank you soooooooooooooo much Annie :)
